Construction Workforce Training and Certification Operator Qualification and Mini House Competition

The Palembang city government, through the Palembang Public Works and Spatial Planning Agency and supported by several sponsors, namely tukang.com, BlueScope, Dulux, Mortar Utama, Indogres Granite, Westpex, Wavin, American Standard, Penguin, Jayaboard, Arciglass, and Bosch, held an event at Jl. Slamet Riyadi No. 213 Palembang.

"This event is a tangible manifestation of collaboration between various parties to improve the competence and competitiveness of construction workers.

"According to Fajar Rizki, Founder and CEO of tukang.com, this initiative aims to produce competent, certified, and competitive construction workers, Tuesday (12/08/2025).

“As interviewed by the media, with certification, construction workers will be more recognized and have authentic proof of their skills. This competition is not just a contest but also a form of appreciation for the dedication of workers.”

"He added that the mini house competition was held to hone their skills.

“This competition is held annually and the number of participants continues to grow. We hope to continue training more construction workers to be more competent,” he said

"This year, the mini house competition was held at the regional level because the national competition was canceled for efficiency reasons.

The participants involved have various skills, including bricklayers, light steel workers, ceramic workers, and painters. They are challenged to build mini houses with certain specifications and standards.
